Why yoga on the nature?

As a society we suffer from nature deficit disorder, but recent studies have shown that spending mindful time on a natural enviroment promotes health and well-being.


Plants and trees realease essential oils and aerosols (named phytoncides) that have a positive impact on our immune function; check out the studies by Dr. Qing Li if you want to know more about it ;)


Personally, I am much more aware of all my senses in a natural environment: I love the scent of the flowers in spring, the sound of the movement of the tree leaves pushed by the wind and the warm feeling of the sun on my skin.


And, I feel much more peaceful after a yoga session when I have this view from savasana :)
